The ORION MEADOW is an ecological wonder, a living laboratory and neonicotinoid-free haven for pollinators. It includes diverse native plants to attract songbirds and migratory species, including hummingbirds. The meadow provides seasonal diversity and offers opportunities for wellness, healing and solace as it invites visitors to walk along its paths, while interacting with plants, pollinators and birds. The meadow also inspires visitors to delve into the wondrous world of astronomy.

We invite visitors to explore our native plant, ornamental, tropical and edible gardens and to draw inspiration for their own home gardens. We offer detailed landscape and garden design and maintenance consultation.

Classes + Workshops
NOVAE connects people to the wonderful world of botany, native plants and ecology through engaging, innovative programs and classes. On our beautiful terrain we teach Plant Identification, Pressed Botanicals, Herbal Infusions, Floral Arranging, Container Gardening, Paper Flower-Making, Holiday Wreath-Making and Food Preservation and much more.

MULTI-CULTI HORTICULTURE + TRAINING
Hands-on Learning and Connection to the Land
NOVAE aims to provide access to horticulture and edible gardening for groups and individuals who do not have other access to land for growing food. We source and grow plants that help immigrants connect to their homeland and heritage. Working alongside our gardeners, our programs provide training and guidance. Participants take home healthy produce, flowers, herbs and handmade NOVAE products.

We organize plant and plant food-based cultural events to encourage social interactions and to build robust and more diverse communities.
