Hands-on Learning and Connection to the Land
NOVAE provides access to horticulture and edible gardening for groups and individuals who do not have other access to land for growing food. We source and help immigrants grow crops that connect them to their homeland and heritage. Working alongside our gardeners, our programs provide training and guidance. Participants take home healthy produce, flowers, herbs and handmade NOVAE products. We provide help with garden and agriculture-related job searches and travel assistance.

We offer detailed landscape and garden design plans, including materials and plant lists. We supervise all phases of preparation and installation and provide post-installation maintenance schedules.

Classes + Workshops
NOVAE connects people to the wonderful world of botany, native plants and ecology through engaging, innovative programs and classes. On our beautiful terrain we teach Plant Identification, Pressed Botanicals, Herbal Infusions, Floral Arranging, Container Gardening, Paper Flower-Making, Holiday Wreath-Making and Food Preservation and much more.

Meadow and Gardens to Inspire and Nourish
The ORION MEADOW is an ecological wonder and neonicotinoid-free haven for pollinators. It includes diverse native plants to attract songbirds and migratory species, including hummingbirds. The meadow provides seasonal diversity and offers opportunities for wellness, healing and solace as it invites visitors to walk along its paths, while interacting with plants, pollinators and birds. The meadow also inspires visitors to delve into the wondrous world of astronomy.
