WHO WE ARE

NOVAE is a small herb and flower farm, native plant nursery, community space and ecological landscape that first found its roots in Harlem, NY in 2018. The landscape is an oasis of beauty, designed to inspire contemplation, reflection, exploration, a celebration of life and rejuvenation, culminating in therapeutic and healthful outcomes. Spaces for art, music and cultural exchanges are incorporated throughout the gardens. Together they create a sanctuary for individual, family and community growth.

VERONICA is a landscape and garden designer, horticulturist, educator, fine artist and activist, with more than fifteen years of dedication to improving the world through connecting people with plants and to each other through ecology and art. She is an immigrant to the US and spent her childhood in the Land of the Hummingbird, Trinidad and Tobago. Veronica graduated from the Cooper Union School of Art with a BFA in painting and photography. She holds certificates in Horticulture, Landscape Design and Garden Design from the New York Botanical Gardens and a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture.
